HISTORY OF ROHNERT PARK BIBLE CHURCH
Rohnert Park Bible Church began as the vision of three young men who had completed a Christian Leadership course at Fairhaven Bible Chapel in San Leandro. They came to Sonoma County to put into practice their faith and trust in God.
They began in 1977 with a neighborhood Bible study in Santa Rosa. This grew into a small house church. In 1988, the church moved to its present location in Rohnert Park.
Rooted in Brethren Assembly tradition, the vision continues to be:
The headship of Christ over the Church;
The ministry of all God’s people;
Making disciples;
The teaching of all the Bible;
A church government of elders and deacons.
We pray for growth in our ministry and praise God for all that He has done and for what He yet will do.
